Ms. Veteran America Finalist - Amber Zufelt

In this special interview I get to sit down with United States Navy Petty Officer First Class Amber Zufelt, who is also a Ms. Veteran America Finalist!  We sit down and talk about why/how she got involved with veteran advocacy work and what she is doing now.  We also touch on this years Ms. Veteran America Competition that will be held Oct 9th 2016 in Washington, DC. Amber was , raised in Bloomfield, New Mexico joined the Navy in 2004. She has completed SIX combat deployments and has served in every tactical fleet worldwide in support of OIF, OEF, and OIR. Amber is currently selected to become a Limited Duty Officer, anxiously awaiting her promotion this November.

She is a veteran advocate, fitness guru, world traveler, and a dog-lover! A former international spokeswoman for post-traumatic stress awareness and research, she has campaigned for veterans’ rights across the country, including Capitol Hill.
