In this episode we sit down with Award-Winning Filmmaker, International Business Executive and U.S. Army Veteran Mr. Bryan Thompson. Bryan shares his story and his dream of becoming a film maker and how Miami Web Fest was started. He share several "Decision Hour" moments with us and hearing his story is very inspiring.
Thompson studied International Business at Eastern Michigan University earning his B.A. and Law at the College of William & Mary, earning his J.D. in 2012. In December 2017, he earned his LL.M. (Masters in Law) at the University of Miami with coursework including TV and Film Distribution and International Law. Having begun his work in Media and Entertainment several years prior to attending law school, his studies lead him to eventually write and produce films spanning several genre, each dealing with complex legal issues. Amy Scruggs is a national recording artist who has opened for many country music greats. Amy has been featured in numerous country music magazines including radio and press while she was on tour. From 2009-2012 she was honored to be the spokesperson for the American Veterans of California (AMVETS). Amy has her high energy show with her country band the “Ghostriders”, led by her son Ryan Scruggs. She is also an accomplished jazz/popvocalist and pianist. Amy is the current co-host for "The American Dream" national TV show with Craig Sewing. She is also a known activist for non-profitsincluding being the founder and President of a 501c3 foundation “Voice For Heroes”. When not working she enjoys all the San Diego activities and lifestylewhile being a wife and mother of 6.

Jan Ohrstrom has been a pro wrestler since the age of 16. He was trained at the legendary School of Hard Knocks in San Bernadino, California under the mentorship of Jesse Hernandez. From there he proceeded to wrestle all around the Southwest United States and Mexico. Shortly after September 11, 2001, Jan made the decision to put his dream of becoming a WWE Star on hold and enlisted into the United States Army. During his time in service, Jan continued to wrestle up till deployment for Operation Iraqi Freedom II, were he was promoted to Sergeant and was nominated for a Bronze Star. In 2006, Jan was Honorably discharged from the Army and he went back to wrestling and onto college.
Fast forward a few years, Jan has created a veteran apparel company called Scars and Stripes, and has also produce and Co-Stared in a new film called “Valhalla Club Documentary” which shows some of the struggles veterans face after war and how Pro Wrestling became a positive outlet for him and some other veterans.
