“Operation ReBoot Outdoors is a 501c3 non-profit organization that concentrates on getting Veterans, LEOs, and service members out of the house and into nature, providing healing through hunting, fishing, and other outdoor recreational activities. We are thankful for our ability as Veterans and Registered Maine Guides to help other Veterans reset their back azimuth to True North.”

Since 2019, they have served more than 590+ veterans, law enforcement officers and active duty members! We talk about some of the hunts and fishing trips they provide and how you can you can get involved. We wrap up the show with them both sharing some very powerful Decision Hours. Ken shares his decision, "Whether have my legs amputated or not?" and Dan shares his "Standing on that line everyday" decision hour moment.

I want to tell the listeners like I created, I started reboot, because I didn't have a support system, because I lost all of you, when I got out, I want to create a family strong enough that if I fell down, or any one of our brothers around us, when we're out here fall down, somebody's right there to help them, you know, carry them along to they can get back on their feet again. ~ Dan Waite, President ~

And only once you're in that emotionally clear state, should you decide what is right or wrong for you. And if you've got to make a decision, always move towards your biggest fear. Ep: 283 - The Wall Between Two Lives
Wednesday Feb 02, 2022
Wednesday Feb 02, 2022
Get ready for this episode as you will hear from U.S. Army Veteran, Author and Busines owner Annette Whittenberger. Listen to her story as she shares the why for writing her book “The Wall Between Two Lives” and hear how a car accident made her make a “decision” that would forever impact her life and the lives of others.
“So I'll tell you, when you guys get the book, you're worried a little bit about my car accident. And I was at home and I was in recovery. And I had to make a decision on whether I was going to choose to live with what my struggles were, or if I was going to suffer from them. And that was a huge decision because I always was the victim and everything and even with a car seat and it was like boohoo me I have to use a wheelchair, I have to use a cane, I have to do all these things. I had to make a decision on how I was going to spend the rest of my life whether it was you know, limping all the time, or whatever the case was on how I recovered from it. And I chose to say, Okay, let's is it I have this, and I'm going to own it and not be afraid to talk about it anymore” ~Annette Whittenberger

The Importance of Mindset
Saturday Dec 11, 2021
Saturday Dec 11, 2021
We are forced to make Decisions in our lives every day. We are faced with situations that we have no control over, however we can control our reactions to those situations. Before you can do that, you must be in the right mindset. Mindset is a conscious decision that requires a choice: positive or negative.
In this episode, I was lucky enough to sit down with the guys from Not Your Average Operator, (https://bit.ly/3IEsIB9) a podcast that dives into some of life’s hardest questions, challenges, and situations as they open up their lives and personal experiences and dissect them in a way that can bring out the best version of ourselves, and help leave the negative in the rearview mirror.
After some much-needed banter and some really good laughs, we dive into the topic of mindset.
We discuss the importance of mindset and provide some examples of our own personal experiences regarding positivity, being grateful, asking for help and how to turn a bad situation around.
We had a lot fun recording this episode as you will hear. That said, this is a topic we don’t take lightly, we understand the importance, we have all been there. We hope that you enjoy this episode. Should you find yourself letting your mindset wonder into places it doesn’t need to be, call on us… We are here to help.
