Ep: 283 - The Wall Between Two Lives

Get ready for this episode as you will hear from U.S. Army Veteran, Author and Busines owner Annette Whittenberger.  Listen to her story as she shares the why for writing her book “The Wall Between Two Lives” and hear how a car accident made her make a “decision” that would forever impact her life and the lives of others.
“So I'll tell you, when you guys get the book, you're worried a little bit about my car accident. And I was at home and I was in recovery. And I had to make a decision on whether I was going to choose to live with what my struggles were, or if I was going to suffer from them. And that was a huge decision because I always was the victim and everything and even with a car seat and it was like boohoo me I have to use a wheelchair, I have to use a cane, I have to do all these things. I had to make a decision on how I was going to spend the rest of my life whether it was you know, limping all the time, or whatever the case was on how I recovered from it. And I chose to say, Okay, let's is it I have this, and I'm going to own it and not be afraid to talk about it anymore” ~Annette Whittenberger

The Importance of Mindset

We are forced to make Decisions in our lives every day.  We are faced with situations that we have no control over, however we can control our reactions to those situations.  Before you can do that, you must be in the right mindset.  Mindset is a conscious decision that requires a choice: positive or negative. 
 
In this episode, I was lucky enough to sit down with the guys from Not Your Average Operator, (https://bit.ly/3IEsIB9) a podcast that dives into some of life’s hardest questions, challenges, and situations as they open up their lives and personal experiences and dissect them in a way that can bring out the best version of ourselves, and help leave the negative in the rearview mirror.
 
After some much-needed banter and some really good laughs, we dive into the topic of mindset.
We discuss the importance of mindset and provide some examples of our own personal experiences regarding positivity, being grateful, asking for help and how to turn a bad situation around.

Ep: 281 - Being Civil

Being Civil.  Seem easy enough, right? Than why do so many people have trouble doing it?
 
We are wrapping up on the series of “Let’s have a conversation” with this week’s episode called “Being Civil”.  Adam and John recap the series and the overall goal of bring people together to have to conversations all while being civil to each other.  Remember, you don’t have to agree with someone’s belief’s or way of thinking, but you can always remain civil.

Ep: 280 - Free Speech

 
We are talking about free speech with a bit of a twist.  When we talk say, free speech, is it, people can say what they want to say… right?  In this episode, we also discuss when free speech isn’t free.  We use a few examples such as the Lieutenant Colonel of the Marine Corps that called out senior leaders not being held accountable.  We also mention a former Fox reporter who was fired for calling out Fox corporation for muzzling her.  Now, some will read that and say, he was Military, or she worked for a company and certain policies might be set in place, and that maybe true, however we also discuss free speech from a standpoint of being on social media or out in a public setting. 
 
This was an interesting topic to cover. What are your thoughts about how free speech is looked at in today’s world.

Ep: 279 - Goodbye Freedom

How many of you think that we are on the verge of losing all of our God given freedoms?
We expand this series of “Let’s have a Conversation” with the topic this week of “Goodbye Freedom”, Why you ask?  LOOK! Your GOD given freedoms are being taking from you.  You no longer have the freedom to say what you can put in your body, you no longer have the freedom of religion, you no longer have the freedom of speech You no longer have… Freedom.
Are we to far gone that we can’t be saved?  We think not.  So take a listen as the guys discuss Goodbye Freedom what it means, where it’s going and how YOU can fix it.

We are continuing the series called let's have a conversation and this week’s topic is "Are you being conditioned".
What are you watching, reading or listening to everyday, right now, in your life? Does any of it cause an emotional reaction?  Ask yourself are we being slowly conditioned to become used to more government control, less freedom, more intrusion on our basic rights? Perhaps we are living in some giant psychological experiment.
Tune in as Adam and John talk about how one could easily think that we are being conditioned, how it’s happening and examples of past and present events that lead to their conclusions. Here’s another question they ask you the listener… Do Americans still believe in freedom?

What type of Ideology do we see most in the world today?
There are different types of ideology, and its certainly a word that has been thrown around a lot as of late.  Take a listen as we talk about what ideology is running most of the world right now, we even ask the question, is the “woke” ideology the same as what we are seeing in Afghanistan with the Taliban?

The Government has turned into a circus!  The people don't believe in their government anymore.
