Ep: 269 - Absolute Truth
Thursday Jul 29, 2021
Thursday Jul 29, 2021
So, what is the truth? Is truth what you say or think it is? There is your truth, the other guys’ truth and then there is Absolute Truth… Or is there?
Absolute Truth is the only thing that ultimately acts as a restraint on power. So, do you think that what’s going on in the world today, that the mainstream media and social media platforms are telling you the Absolute Truth? Take a listen as we continue our series of “Let’s Have A Conversation” and we dive into the topic of Absolute Truth.
The founders of our country drew authority from nature’s God, meaning that there are certain truths that they find to be self-evident. In other words, they exist in nature. What does that mean? We explain it.
Alexander Solzhenitsyn wrote the Gulag archipelago, which is arguably responsible for bringing down the Soviet Union he says, “it takes one person to not lie to bring down a tyranny” Can we compare this to anything going on in our country today?
When you listen to this episode see if what we say falls in line with things that are going on in today’s society. Do you agree?
Take a listen and tell us what you think. Remember, it’s important to have these conversations

Ep: 268 - Let's Have a Conversation - My Solution
Thursday Jul 22, 2021
Thursday Jul 22, 2021
We continue the series of “Let’s Have a Conversation” This week’s topic: “My Solution”
My Solution really meaning, YOU the listener. If you’re not a fan of what’s going on in the world today have you asked yourself these two questions… ~ What part did I play in this?
~ What can I do?
If you don’t like the answer to those questions, the nice thing is, you can still do something about it.
We talk a lot about what’s going on in the United States right now, how the Government(s) is playing a role in (mis)information and what We The People should be doing. We reference back to the first episode of this series “Founding Principals” (LISTEN HERE: https://bit.ly/3hZl4WO) so you have somewhat of a base to start from.
Think about it this way, the government(s) between state and federal accounts for over 50% of our economy right now, that is somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 million people (this is an approximate number)who work for the government. That make the Government very large. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
Question: Should the government be in the business of surveilling the United States Citizens?
A lot of things are brought up in this episode, but, it’s time we make the decision to sit down and start having these tough conversations so that we can figure out what “My Solution” will be.

Ep: 267 - Founding Principles
Thursday Jul 15, 2021
Thursday Jul 15, 2021
We are starting a new series here on The Decision Hour called, “Let’s have a Conversation”. I’ve asked my good friend Mr. John Currie to join me for the next several episodes.
Why are we doing this series? Some may say we live in a world now where if you have a difference of opinion or belief, that no one wants to have a conversation and try to see things from the other persons point of view. We rely on Mainstream Media or Social Media to be truth and that’s simply not true.
The topic’s we discuss in this series, our goal is for you, the listener, to provide you some type of education, and take what we say whether you believe it or not, is to get you to start thinking for yourself and to ask questions and sit down with people and have conversations about these topics.
The first show in this series is called “Founding Principles”. We need to know and understand what the Founding Principles are and understand them. Do you know what the Founding Principles are? There a lot more to them then you might think. This isn’t going to be a civics class, it’s meant to be a conversation.
Take a listen.
